Listen-up // 10

The last few months have seemed devoid of any really decent Electronica releases, at least IMHO. I’ve been looking forward for a long time to the release of Röyksopp’s new album called Junior. It was released early this week and is excellent; definitely worth a listen if you enjoy their style of music.

But, I’ve also discovered a superb record call Seasider – ℗ Feb 08 Airport Route Recordings – by an artist called Pete Lunn. Take a look on iTunes and you’ll find people asking why he hasn’t received more recognition than he has. I’d definitely question the same.

It’s very rare that I listen to a newly found album or track and have that ‘must have it’ feeling. Seasider definitely brought it on in droves and I wish more artists were capable of this quality…
